Leicester City manager Claude Puel claims new signing Youri Tielemans is ready to ‘bring his qualities’ into the Foxes’ fold against Tottenham this weekend. However, the French coach wouldn’t confirm whether the loan acquisition, who joined on a short-term deal from Monaco last month, would start at Wembley on Sunday.
Puel had previously stated that a lack of adequate training with the rest of his squad was the principle reason the Belgium international wasn’t included against Manchester United last weekend. The 21-year old is now ready to show his quality and demonstrate what he can offer to the club, starting this weekend if he is selected.
Talking before the game this weekend, as reported by the Leicester Mercury, Puel had this to say on what Tielemans can offer; he said, “We will see, I’ve not decided my team yet. He does hard work in the training sessions. We will see if he can bring his qualities in this game. He is match fit. We will see if he starts or not in this game.”
