Isaac Dogboe on indefinite medical suspension in Arizona.

Ghanaian- British boxer Isaac Dogboe has been put on indefinite medical suspension by the Arizona department of Gaming in the USA. Nanansem.com reports.

The former World Boxing Organization super bantamweight champion was suspended following his last fight with Emmanuel Navarrette in Tucson, Arizona on May 11, this year. The suspension will proceed until Dogboe is cleared by his physician.

Isaac Dogboe was placed on medical suspension following his last bout in Tucson on 05/11/19. The suspension is in effect until Mr. Dogboe is cleared by a physician,”

It will be recalled that Dogboe, 24, lost his WBO title to knockout artist Emanuel Navarrete (28-1, 24 KOs) last December, losing a 12-round unanimous decision.

In their rematch on May 11, Navarrete brutally stopped Dogboe in the 12th round after punishing the Ghanaian throughout the fight.

In the aftermath of the fight, Dogboe has switched trainers twice. First he left his father Paul Dogboe for an American trainer Paul Roach. Roach had some fall out with Dogboe‘s dad because his dad wasn’t so cool with the idea of his son switching trainers , apparently he was only able to train Dogboe for 10 days.

Currently Isaac Zion Dogboe is training with former multiple world champion James Toney ahead of a rumoured November 30 return against Carl Frampton in LA.
