Gareth Southgate, coach of the England national team picked Trent Alexander Arnold and Kieran Trippier for European Championship qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, referring to their attacking qualities.

In a video sighted by, Pep Guardiola has backed Kyle Walker to bounce back after his second oversight from the England squad.

Guardiola maintained Walker, who is battling for his Manchester City spot with Joao Cancelo.

Guardiola said ”Kyle Walker can do everything . ‘It is the opinion of the national coach. He made a selection, he has decided the last two times.

Kyle respects it, I respect it. He normally does what is best for the national team. My opinion of Kyle does not change. He remains a top full back.

It is big challenge for him to show the England coach how good he is. We have always got a challenge in sports. We have targets and he has one in front of him in every single game.

He came from Tottenham to this place as an outstanding player and he is still . He is physical strong, he is fast and we try to help him to be a better player. We asked him many times to attack from wide, attack from inside.

I don’t have douts about Kyle. Danilo played sometimes last season. We can’t play with just one full back. We needed competition for Kyle.”

Kyle Walker still has a stand at City and he is expected to start against Wolves on Sunday. Guardiola claimed £60million summer signing Cancelo is beginning to adapt to his team’s way of playing after appearances against Preston and Dinamo Zagreb.

He further added. ‘’The last game was really good too. He arrived late, not in the pre-season, and what he did with a previous team was completely different.

He is getting better. We don’t have doubts with the ball and he’s beginning to understand what we want without it.’
