Ghanaian Rapper, Guru has taken to social media to register his displeasure over Greater Accra’s Naa winning the #GMB2020 .The source of his displeasure is due to the fact that no representative of the Brong Ahafo Region has ever won the competition. According to him, this is why he hates and goes hard on award schemes organized in Ghana adding that he would be tagged as being disrespectful if he talks about some of the issues with respect to some competitions in the country. Guru has pointed accusing fingers at the organizers of Ghana Most Beautiful in that he claims they are now behaving like the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Twenty-three-year-old entrepreneur, Naa, representing the Greater Accra Region is now Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2020.
The finale of the weeks of competition fused with entertainment and education was held at the Accra International Conference Center with season judges including Linda Ampaw on the panel, Lydia Forson.
She beat off stiff competition from five other finalists, including Kafui [Volta Region representative] who was seen by some as the favorite for this year’s crown, to walk home with the ultimate prize.
Naa becomes the second person from her region to win the GMB crown. Adoley first won the crown in 2008.
Naa gets a brand new car, a cash prize of 10,000 cedis, a round trip to Dubai courtesy Camel Antiseptic’s ‘Buy and Fly and a year supply of GTP fabric among other souvenirs from sponsors.
